I'm Basia and...
I strongly believe in the motto 'you only live once'. I try to use every moment to experience new adventures and pursue my passions. I used to think that volleyball was my only sports love, but then... I met the mountains! And it was love at first trek.
From that moment, my heart is divided between climbing, via ferratas, and in winter – skiing, ski touring, and... recently snowboarding. Yes, exactly, snowboarding - because why not try something new, even if it means a few spectacular falls?
The year 2023 was a turning point for me. After defending my master's in cosmetology, I decided it was the perfect time for a small life revolution. What kind?
Smile! Do you know why? Stoics teach: peace is the acceptance of what is unchangeable. Forget unnecessary worries and move on ;)

I love spending time in the mountains. One has to live off something, so I work in the IT industry as a Product Designer on a daily basis. For those not familiar with this field, I'd add that I also enjoy designing websites, web applications, and mobile apps.
